 Paul, provided an excellent , informative , casual  and fun wine tasting evening  at our home recently . He provided all the wine. We were encouraged , and felt comfortable ,in asking  lots of questions. 

We learned lots,  and are now able to enjoy our own wine more as a result . Paul is clearly very knowledgeable, and equally  enthusiastic about all things wine ,and we would not hesitate to recommend one of his tasting sessions .

We spent a fun and fact filled evening with Paul and a group of friends. It was exactly that, fun and fact filled. I was a little nervous that it might be a bit highbrow and 'wine snobby', but far from it. Paul brought along a great selection of wines for us to try and talked us through each of them along with their regions. By the end of the night we had all learnt a lot, tasted a lot and felt a lot more confident when ordering wine. The best bit was that it was all fun. Thank you so much Paul

We had  Between Vines  come to us for an evening spent with some friends. What a great night! They selected some lovely wines for us to try and helped us to taste them and understand wine a lot better than we did. Not only did teach us about the geography of where they were from and the factors influencing a good year for wine. Crucially however, it wasn't a heavy night it was light hearted fun with good wine and friends. What more do you want?

I hope this message finds you well! I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a massive thank you for the absolutely delightful Bordeaux wine tasting you hosted at our house. It was such a fantastic evening, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into it. Your passion for the Bordeaux region really shone through, and it was such a treat to hear all your insights and stories about the wines we tasted. Your knowledge is truly impressive, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable and enlightening.
The selection of wines was top-notch, and I think we all learned a thing or two about the nuances and characteristics that make Bordeaux wines so special. It was a perfect blend of education and enjoyment, and I can't thank you enough for sharing your expertise with us.

Paul gave a nice balance of in depth information and facts about the grapes used and other factors affecting the taste and style of the wines presented and tasted. The tasting was well paced with a light-hearted perspective. The wines were  representative of various styles from the Bordeaux region and were excellent on the taste buds. An excellent way to spend a couple of hours".

Paul was well informed in breadth and depth about the subject of wine, while being informal and approachable at the same time.  He  demystified entirely what can seem a bewildering subject.  I came away feeling so much more knowledgable and relaxed about the world of wine.

I've known Paul for many years, but I only realised how much he knew about wine when they organised a tasting at our house. They brought along 6 carefully chosen vintages from Bordeaux, and gave a talk with pictures and maps to explain the region and how the grapes are grown and pressed. We then started the tasting, and the differences between each bottle really hit home. They talked about the history of wine, and we tried a wine I had never experienced before, a rare one called clairet; this was a real find, and they can get it for me. I would recommend this evening to anyone who can find 6 guests who want to experience a whole new way of learning about wine, it's fun and not expensive.
